The campus is home to approximately 2,600 students and offers a range of programs in fields like design, business, social and health care, humanities, education, and technology. Alongside their academic pursuits, students can immerse themselves in Kouvola's rich cultural life, active sports scene, and stunning natural surroundings.

The Kotka Campus is home to approximately 3,500 students, offering programs in technology, social and health care, maritime, logistics, and business administration. Starting in autumn 2024, the new state-of-the-art campus, located by the sea in Kantasatama, will provide a dynamic and inspiring environment for learning, teaching, and research.
The new campus spans 15,000 square meters over six floors and is designed with flexibility in mind to adapt to the evolving needs of education and professional training. It features 23 modern theory rooms with a total seating capacity of 1,095, three computer classrooms, 71 specialized spaces for laboratories and simulations, and even a gymnasium. Restaurant facilities will be available at the nearby Event Centre Satama, creating a seamless and vibrant ecosystem for students and staff.
At Kotka Campus, students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and simulation environments. These innovative spaces prepare students for careers as engineers, nurses, paramedics, naprapaths, maritime captains, social workers, and other professionals. Additional learning opportunities are available through Xamk Pulse, the Open University of Applied Sciences, which caters to lifelong learners.

The Mikkeli Campus, the largest of Xamk's campuses in terms of student numbers, is home to approximately 4,600 students pursuing studies across nearly 30 Bachelor's and Master’s degree programs. With a broad academic offering, students can specialize in fields such as engineering, forestry engineering, nursing, hospitality management, social services, public health nursing, business, and community education. The campus also offers two English-language Bachelor’s programs and around ten Master’s programs, catering to a diverse student body.
Located just a 10-minute walk from the city center, the Mikkeli Campus boasts outstanding facilities and services designed to enhance both academic and personal experiences. Students in Savonlinna have the opportunity to study programs such as physiotherapy, bioproduct technology, industrial wood construction engineering, podiatry, sports instruction, nursing, school well-being and counseling, and safety management. Savonlinna Campus is a hub for innovative research and development, with a focus on processing wood biomass and pulp fiber into new products. The Fiber Laboratory, located at the Savonlinna Technology Center, develops technologies for the forest and process industries, as well as chemical and measurement system manufacturers. Although costs will vary based on the location, length of program, and enrollment type, a semester abroad through a third-party provider will generally run between $10,000-$15,000 USD.
The requirements for all study abroad programs are different from each other. Enrolling in our courses may require a minimum score of 50% in your class 12 or graduation.
